Es gibt sie in den verschiedensten Varianten und Zuschnitte. Die Benennung Spareribs in Deutschland wird von vielen doch recht inflationär verwendet wird.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Im Supermarkt an der Fleischtheke frisch oder fertig abgepackt und vor mariniert, sogar vorgegart, sodass die Ribs nur noch kurz gegrillt werden müssen, könnt Ihr eigentlich alles mit dem Namen Spareribs finden. Was in der Form leider die falsche Bezeichnung ist. Alles was angeboten wird, sind &#8222;eigentlich&#8220; namentlich aus dem englischen/amerikanischen unter dem Name Loinribs oder auch als Babyback-Ribs bekannt.<br>Warum in Deutschland, was eigentlich unter den deutschen Bezeichnungen, Kotelett-Rippchen, Leiterchen vom Schwein, Rücken-Rippen, pauschal alles mit dem Wort Spareribs bezeichnet wird, liegt vermutlich irgendwo im Dunkel der Vergangenheit.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Spareribs sind die Rippen, welche sich auf, oder auch unter, je nach Blickrichtung :), dem Schweinebauch befinden. Diese gibt es auch in unterschiedliche Zuschnitten, sogenannte Cuts. Der bekannteste ist vermutlich der St. Louis Cut. Dieser wird in der Regel bei Wettkämpfen verwendet, da dieser einen sehr geradlinigen Schnitt hat. Dadurch ist er recht praktisch, im Grill zu positionieren. Vom Aufstellen in einem Ständer und später zum Dämpfen übereinander geschichtet ist der Cut hervorragende geeignet.</p>

Damit könnt Ihr dann eher erkennen, um welche Variante es sich handelt, sollte ihr in der Fleischtheke über ein paar Stücke stolpern.</p>

<p>Die Pilze sind schnelle vorbereitet. Einfach die Champignons putzen und die harten Stielenden etwas zu kürzen. Anschließend kannst du alle Zutaten für die Marinade gut vermischen.</p>



<p>Danach kannst du die Pilze in eine Schüssel geben und sie mit der Marinade übergießen. Vermische alles gut miteinander, sodass alle Pilze von der Marinade bedeckt sind. Lasse die Champignons über Nacht im Kühlschrank durchziehen. Wenn es schnell gehen soll, reichen auch zwei bis drei Stunden.</p>



<p>Stecke die marinierten Champignons auf Spieße. Je nach Größe der Spieße sollten etwa 4-6 Champignons auf einem Spieß Platz finden. Grill die Spieße bei mittlerer, indirekter Hitze für 10-15 Minuten. Wende die Spieße dabei gelegentlich, damit sie von allen Seiten gleichmäßig gegrillt werden und eine dunkelbraune Farbe annehmen.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Blumenkohl vom Grill ist ein wahrer Genuss, wenn man ihn mit diesem Rezept zubereitet. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Die Röschen des Blumenkohls werden mit etwas Olivenöl beträufelt, damit die Würzung aus Salz, Pfeffer sowie das Maismehl gut daran haftet, bevor sie auf den Grill gelegt werden. <br>Dadurch erhält der Blumenkohl eine knusprige Textur, die sich wunderbar mit dem zarten Inneren des Gemüses vermischt.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size">Das dazugehörige Dressing aus Ahornsirup, Zitronensaft, Sesampaste und Dijon-Senf rundet den Geschmack des gegrillten Blumenkohls ab. <p>Diese Honig Senf Sauce habe ich bereits seit Jahren in meiner Rezeptsammlung. Das hat den einfachen Grund, dass sie schnell, einfach gemacht ist und lecker schmeckt.</p>



<p>Verwenden könnt Ihr die Sauce ganz klassisch für gegrilltes und zum Fondue. Außerdem könnt Ihr sie auch zum Bepinseln von Chicken-Wings benutzen, um diese gegen Schluss zusätzlich zu aromatisieren.</p>



<p>Auch für Wraps oder für einen dekorativen Saucenspiegel auf Teller verwendbar.</p>



<p>Die Sauce hält mehrere Wochen im Kühlschrank, Ihr sollten deshalb gleich schon einmal ein bisschen mehr machen, den lange wird die Sauce nicht herumstehen. Ich benutze zum Aufbewahren Bügelgläser oder auch Schraubgläser. </p>

<p>Sour Cream passt nicht nur zu Backed Potatos, sondern zu jeder Art von Kartoffeln, egal ob gekocht, gebraten oder gebacken.</p>



<p>Was wir in Deutschland unter Sour Cream verstehen ist allerdings etwas anderes als der Amerikaner damit verbindet. Unter dem Begriff assoziiert er schlicht und ergreifen etwas ähnliches das wir als Schmand oder Sauerrahm kennen, nur kein zubereiteter Dip. US-amerkanische Sour Cream und unser Schmand/Sauerrahm ist so ziemlich das gleiche, nur mit anderem Fettgehalt.</p>



<p>Also wundert euch nicht wenn Ihr den leckeren Dip zubereitet und von einem Amerikaner ein Stirnrunzeln erntet, wenn Ihr diesen stolz &#8222;wie bei euch Zuhause&#8220; präsentiert.</p>



<p>Aus meinen Jugendzeiten kenn ich auch noch einfach nur gekochte Kartoffeln mit Quark, ähnlich wird die Sour Cream in den USA verwendet. Auch zum verfeineren von Gerichten oder als Soßen-Basis. Z. B. wird Sauerrahm bei uns genutzt um ein <a href="https://www.meatwant.de/rezepte/rindergulasch-ungarische-art/">ungarisches Gulasch</a> zu verfeinert. Hilft auch übrigens ungemein wenn euch das Gulasch zu scharf geraten ist.</p>



<p>Es gibt also eigentlich kein orginal amerikanischen Sour Cream Dip, so wie wir diesen Dip kennen. Deshalb ist keine Zubereitungsart die wir praktizieren die einzig Richtige. Ich würde mal sagen &#8222;Hauptsache es schmeckt&#8220;!</p>
